KS1 have been finding out about the minibeast in our school grounds.
This week in Science, KS1 set out on a search of the school grounds to look for minibeasts. The children searched under rocks, around tree trunks and everywhere where a minibeast might be hiding on a rainy day in April. As the children spotted minibeasts they used tallies to keep count of how many they found. Back in the classroom the children used the data they had collected to answer questions about the minibeasts. In our computing lessons the children used their tally charts to create pictograms to display their data in a different way.
